Bellevue Police Warn Residents to Stay Vigilant Following Gas Station Armed Robbery

BELLEVUE, Wash. — Local authorities are calling on community members to stay alert and vigilant after an armed robbery occurred at a Bellevue gas station.

The Bellevue Police Department responded to reports of a robbery at a local service station on Tuesday. According to initial reports, armed individuals entered the convenience store portion of the gas station, brandished weapons at the employee on duty, and demanded cash from the register.

The suspect or suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash before police units could set up a perimeter. No injuries were reported during the encounter, though the employee was understandably shaken.

In response to the incident, Bellevue police have increased patrols in the surrounding commercial areas and are advising the public, especially retail workers, to remain aware of their surroundings. Detectives are currently reviewing surveillance footage from the gas station to obtain descriptions of the suspects.
