Bellingham police are searching for an armed robbery suspect out of Rhode Island

BELLINGHAM, Massachusetts — Law enforcement authorities in Bellingham, Massachusetts, are assisting out-of-state agencies in the search for a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery in neighboring Rhode Island.

On Sunday, February 18, 2024, the Bellingham Police Department received alerts and intelligence regarding the suspect's potential presence in the local area. Because the town of Bellingham sits directly on the Rhode Island border near Woonsocket, local officers immediately initiated search protocols and increased vigilance along major transit corridors such as Route 126 and Route 140.
