Two Charged After Man Kidnapped at Gunpoint and Forced to Withdraw Cash from ATM

BIRMINGHAM, AL — Two individuals have been arrested and charged following a harrowing gunpoint kidnapping in Birmingham where a victim was abducted and forced to withdraw funds from an automated teller machine (ATM).

According to the Birmingham Police Department, the victim was confronted by armed suspects who took control of his vehicle and held him at gunpoint. The captors then forced the man to drive to a nearby ATM and withdraw cash under threat of violence. Fortunately, the victim was eventually released without suffering severe physical harm, though he was deeply shaken by the experience.

Following a swift investigation by detectives, two suspects were identified, tracked down, and taken into custody.
