Spurt of Gas Station Violence and Robberies Leads to Multiple Arrests and Murder Charges in Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM, AL — A string of violent incidents at local service stations has gripped Birmingham, leading to multiple arrests, capital murder charges, and a heightened police presence. The incidents range from armed robberies to a tragic double shooting.

In one of the most severe cases, three individuals have been charged with capital murder following a deadly double shooting at a local gas station. Investigators worked to trace those involved, which led to a judge granting bond for a woman accused of driving a teenager to the scene of the fatal shooting.
