Hospice Aide Arrested in Boise for Stealing Over $30,000 in Jewelry from Patients

BOISE, Idaho — A Boise hospice aide has been arrested and faces serious charges after being accused of stealing over $30,000 worth of jewelry from patients under her care. The arrest occurred following a detailed investigation into missing personal items reported by the families of several patients.

According to the Boise Police Department, the suspect utilized her position of trust to gain access to the private residences and personal belongings of elderly and vulnerable individuals receiving hospice care. Family members noticed the disappearance of valuable jewelry, including heirlooms and wedding rings, and alerted authorities.
