Surveillance Video Captures Bold E-Bike Theft Inside Bradenton Family Dollar Store

BRADENTON, Florida — The Bradenton Police Department has released surveillance video of a bold theft where a suspect walked off with an electric bicycle belonging to a shopper inside a local Family Dollar. The incident occurred on June 24, 2025, and has sparked concerns regarding retail security in the area.

The surveillance footage shows the suspect entering the Family Dollar store, locating the shopper's e-bike, and quickly leaving the premises with the high-value bicycle. The victim, who was actively shopping inside the store at the time, discovered the theft shortly thereafter and reported it to store management and responding police officers.
