ATM Stolen in Overnight Smash-and-Grab at Canton Dunkin' Donuts

An early morning smash-and-grab incident in Baltimore's historic Canton neighborhood has left a local Dunkin' Donuts storefront heavily damaged and police searching for suspects after an ATM was stolen from the premises.

According to local police reports, the burglary occurred in the overnight hours of August 7, 2024. Suspects utilized a vehicle to crash through the front entrance of the Dunkin' Donuts establishment, allowing them quick entry into the building. Once inside, the perpetrators targeted the store's automated teller machine (ATM), loading it into a getaway vehicle before fleeing the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement officers.

Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the scene following a commercial burglar alarm. Upon arrival, they discovered significant structural damage to the front of the business, with shattered glass and debris scattered across the entrance. No injuries were reported, as the business was closed at the time of the break-in. Detectives are currently reviewing area surveillance footage and asking anyone with information to contact investigators.
