CAPE CORAL, FL โ€” A local restaurant owner in Cape Coral has released high-definition surveillance footage of a theft that took place inside their business, seeking to warn other operators about recent criminal tactics.

The incident occurred on July 10, 2025, during normal business hours. The footage shows a suspect casually entering the establishment, locating unsecured employee belongings, and swiftly making off with personal items and business assets. The victim shared the video with WINK News and on social media in hopes of identifying the perpetrator.

โ€œWe want other businesses to know what's happening so they can secure their counters and keep their staff alert,โ€ the owner stated. The Cape Coral Police Department is using the clear video evidence to trace the suspect. Anyone who recognizes the individual in the footage is urged to contact local authorities.
