Police Seek Public's Help in Identifying Suspect Who Robbed East Charlotte Walgreens

CHARLOTTE, NC — Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a robbery at a Walgreens pharmacy in east Charlotte.

The robbery took place at a Walgreens location on the eastern side of the city. According to police, the suspect entered the store and demanded items or money from employees before fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported during the encounter, but police are treating the incident with high urgency. CMPD has released preliminary descriptions and is reviewing surveillance footage from the store and surrounding businesses to track the suspect's escape route.
