Two Men Shot and Robbed Inside Charlotte Apartment by Strangers

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two men were shot and robbed inside their Charlotte apartment by a group of unidentified individuals, sparking a police hunt for the suspects. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) responded to reports of gunfire at an apartment complex, where officers found two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

According to investigators, the victims were inside their apartment when several strangers forced their way inside. The suspects brandished firearms, demanding valuables. During the altercation, both victims were shot. The suspects then robbed the victims and fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Both victims were transported to a local hospital, where they are receiving treatment for their injuries. Their current conditions have not been released.
