CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department detectives, in partnership with Crime Stoppers, are renewing their call for public assistance regarding an ongoing investigation into a residential break-in in the Plaza Midwood neighborhood.

The break-in, which occurred at a home in the historic and popular east Charlotte neighborhood, has prompted law enforcement to seek additional leads. According to investigators, the suspect or suspects forced entry into the residence, stealing valuable personal property before fleeing the area undetected.

Plaza Midwood is known for its vibrant community and pedestrian-friendly streets, but local residents have expressed rising concerns over property crimes. Detectives are reviewing neighborhood security feeds and doorbell camera footage, urging anyone who may have noticed suspicious vehicles or individuals in the vicinity around the time of the incident to contact the police.
