Suspect Charged Following Commercial Robbery of CBD and Tobacco Products in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has arrested and charged a suspect in connection with a commercial robbery that took place at a local specialty store in Charlotte. The incident, which involved the theft of CBD oils, vaporizers, and various tobacco products, occurred on the afternoon of August 7, 2025.

Quick Arrest by CMPD Officers

According to police reports, the suspect entered the retail establishment, threatened store employees, and demanded specific high-value CBD and tobacco merchandise. After securing the items, the suspect fled the scene on foot. Responding officers quickly flooded the area, utilizing descriptions provided by store employees and nearby surveillance cameras to locate the suspect just blocks away.
