Security Video Captures Intruders Breaking into Charlotte Arcade Bar to Steal Alcohol

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina — Police are investigating an overnight commercial burglary at a popular arcade bar in Charlotte, where a suspect was caught on camera stealing alcohol from behind the counter.

Surveillance footage obtained from the establishment shows a suspect force entry through a door during the early morning hours when the venue was closed. Once inside, the intruder bypassed gaming machines and walked directly behind the bar area. The suspect then systematically selected multiple bottles of high-end alcohol, placing them in a bag before making a swift exit.

The business owner shared the high-definition security footage with local media and investigators to help identify the individual. The arcade bar, which is a staple of the local nightlife scene, suffered minor property damage to its entryway during the break-in. CMPD is currently analyzing the video for any identifying features or clothing patterns.
