CMPD Seeks Help to Identify East Charlotte Home Invasion Suspects

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) is seeking help from the community to identify the suspects behind a home invasion in east Charlotte. Investigators have released descriptions of the individuals involved in hopes that someone might recognize them.

The home invasion took place at a residence in east Charlotte, where suspects forced their way into the home. During the incident, the suspects confronted the residents and searched the home for valuables before fleeing the scene. Officers responded to the call shortly after the suspects departed, and fortunately, no serious physical injuries were reported among the victims.

CMPD detectives are reviewing surveillance footage and asking anyone who lives in the east Charlotte area to check their own home security cameras for any suspicious vehicles or individuals. Anyone with information that could help lead to an arrest is asked to call the CMPD or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers. Investigators emphasize that even small details could be critical to solving the case.
