Thieves Break Into Logan Square Liquor Store on Fullerton Avenue

CHICAGO — Police are investigating a commercial burglary that targeted a liquor store in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood on the city's Northwest Side early Monday morning.

According to the Chicago Police Department, the incident took place on the morning of October 20, 2025, in the block of Fullerton Avenue near Kedzie Boulevard. Responding officers found evidence of forced entry at the commercial establishment, with front windows shattered and merchandise disrupted inside the store.

Investigators report that a group of unidentified suspects breached the security gates and glass entryways, quickly entering the business. The thieves managed to seize an undisclosed amount of inventory and cash before fleeing the scene in an awaiting vehicle before patrol cars arrived. No injuries were reported in connection with the break-in.

Area Five Detectives are currently reviewing surveillance footage from the store and surrounding properties in an effort to identify the suspects and the getaway vehicle. No suspects are currently in custody, and the investigation remains active and ongoing.
