Logan Square Convenience Store Robbed, Employee Assaulted by Three Suspects

CHICAGO — An employee was injured during an armed robbery at a convenience store in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood on Monday afternoon, police said. The incident occurred on December 22, 2025, on the city's Northwest Side, sparking safety concerns in the community during the holiday week.

According to the Chicago Police Department, three unidentified suspects entered the convenience store located on Armitage Avenue. The suspects confronted the employee working at the register, demanding cash and merchandise. During the encounter, one of the suspects physically assaulted the store worker, striking them before the trio fled the scene.

Emergency medical personnel arrived shortly after the police response. The employee received medical attention for minor injuries sustained during the physical confrontation. The suspects reportedly made off with cash from the register and several items from the store's inventory, heading in an unknown direction.

Area Detectives are investigating the robbery and looking into nearby security cameras and residential doorbell footage for clues. No suspects are currently in custody, and police are asking anyone with information regarding the robbery to contact the Chicago Police Department.
