According to authorities, the break-ins occurred during the overnight hours of Sunday, April 26, 2026. Among the damaged businesses was Irish Eyes, a well-known neighborhood pub located on Lincoln Avenue, which sustained significant structural damage to its entrance.

Police report that this incident was part of a larger commercial burglary pattern that occurred overnight across the area, including the West Loop.
