According to the Chicago Police Department, the burglary occurred on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Surveillance footage shows a group of individuals forcing open the front security door. Once inside, the suspects ransacked the store, targeting cash registers, tobacco products, and other merchandise. The thieves completed the heist within minutes and fled the scene before officers responded to the business's alarm system.
