CHICAGO — Regional police departments have issued a public appeal for assistance in identifying a suspect believed to be responsible for a string of recent home burglaries across several Chicago-area residential neighborhoods.

According to police reports, the suspect is linked to multiple forced-entry burglaries that occurred while homeowners were away. The perpetrator appears to target high-value, easily transportable items such as cash, electronics, and jewelry. Surveillance footage captured at several of the targeted properties shows a lone individual approaching homes under the guise of delivering packages or checking utility lines before attempting to break in through rear doors or ground-level windows.

Authorities have released clear security camera stills of the suspect in hopes that a member of the community will recognize the individual. Residents are reminded to lock all doors and windows, keep outdoor security lighting active, and report any unfamiliar individuals behaving suspiciously near residential properties.
