Lincoln Park Bakery Target of Early Morning Burglary in Chicago

CHICAGO, IL — Chicago police are investigating a burglary at a local bakery in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. The incident occurred in the early morning hours of Monday, August 12, 2024.

According to preliminary reports, an unidentified suspect gained entry to the establishment, located in one of the city's prominent commercial corridors. The owner or staff discovered the break-in upon arriving to open the bakery for morning operations.
