Burglars break into bar in Chicago's Rogers Park community

Residents and business owners in Chicago's Rogers Park community are on alert after burglars broke into a local bar overnight, stealing property and causing damage to the establishment.

The burglary occurred during the early morning hours when the business was closed. According to police, the offenders forced entry through a door or window and targeted the venue's register and valuable property inside. Staff discovered the break-in upon arriving to open the bar the following morning, promptly notifying law enforcement.
