Burglars Target Near North Side Liquor Store for Second Time in a Month

An investigation is underway after attempted burglars targeted a liquor store on Chicago's Near North Side for the second time this month. The repeated attempt has left the store owners frustrated and concerned for the safety of their business and the surrounding neighborhood.

According to Chicago police, the suspects tried to breach the store's security doors and windows during the early morning hours. Although the perpetrators caused physical damage to the entrance, they were ultimately unsuccessful in gaining entry to the interior or stealing any merchandise. They fled the scene before officers arrived on the premises.

Store security footage is being reviewed by Area Three detectives as they investigate the break-in attempt.
