Two Charged with Robbery and Murder of Chicago Father Commuting to Work

CHICAGO, IL — Cook County prosecutors have filed felony murder and robbery charges against two men in connection with the tragic shooting death of a Chicago father who was assaulted while commuting to work. The incident, which has deeply shaken the local community, occurred in the early morning hours of June 4, 2024, as the victim was walking toward a transit station.
