Police Search for Suspect in Albany Park Armed Robberies Targeting North Kedzie Avenue Businesses

CHICAGO, IL — The Chicago Police Department has issued a public alert as they search for a suspect linked to a series of commercial robberies in the Albany Park neighborhood.

According to investigators, the suspect targeted a drug store and another commercial establishment along North Kedzie Avenue near West Irving Park Road. In each incident, the suspect entered the business, threatened employees, and demanded cash before fleeing the scene on foot.

Area detectives have released descriptions of the suspect, gathered from witness statements and security camera footage. Residents and business owners in the Albany Park area are advised to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately as police increase patrols in the commercial corridor.
