Downtown Cincinnati Coffee Shop Burglarized, Cash Register Stolen

CINCINNATI, Ohio — A popular coffee shop in Downtown Cincinnati was burglarized early Monday morning, resulting in the theft of the business's cash register.

According to the Cincinnati Police Department, officers responded to a commercial break-in alarm at the establishment. Upon arrival, officers discovered forced entry through a window or door. Surveillance footage showed suspects entering the property, quickly locating the cash register, and removing it from the counter before fleeing the premises.

The shop owners expressed frustration over the incident, which caused physical damage to the property in addition to the loss of daily cash funds. Police are analyzing security footage to identify the suspect or suspects involved.

Investigators are asking downtown business owners and residents who may have noticed suspicious activity in the early hours of Monday morning to contact Cincinnati Police.
