Cincinnati Police Searching for Suspects in Store Break-In Near UC Campus

According to police reports, the break-in occurred early in the morning of January 9, 2026. The suspects targeted a retail establishment in the Clifton area, a neighborhood highly populated by university students and local businesses. Security footage from the store captured individuals forcing entry through a front entrance and stealing merchandise before fleeing the scene on foot.

Investigators are currently reviewing security video and are asking anyone who lives in the area or was driving nearby with a dashcam around the time of the incident to check their footage. The suspects are described as wearing dark clothing and hoods, and police hope that someone might recognize them or have seen suspicious activity in the neighborhood.
