Intruder Breaks into Cincinnati Corporate Headquarters, Steals Only Hard Candy
CINCINNATI, Ohio — In one of the more unusual break-ins reported recently, an intruder allegedly bypassed security measures at a massive corporate headquarters in Cincinnati, only to steal a small amount of hard candy.
According to police reports, the suspect gained unauthorized entry to the prominent office building on March 22, 2026. After navigating past secure entry points, the intruder moved through the building's lobby and reception areas. While the facility contains high-value equipment, sensitive electronic data, and expensive office amenities, security logs and physical evidence indicate that the suspect ignored these items entirely.
Instead, the suspect targeted a jar of hard candy located on a desk. After consuming some of the sweets and filling his pockets with the rest, the individual departed the premises. Security personnel discovered the breach shortly after and notified law enforcement.
While the monetary value of the stolen goods is minimal, the breach of a major company's headquarters has raised security concerns. Police are investigating the incident and are reviewing surveillance footage to identify the suspect. It remains unclear whether the break-in was a prank, a dare, or if the suspect had other intentions that were thwarted before he could execute them.
