Interstate Police Pursuit Ends in Arrests After Clarksville Retail Theft

CLARKSVILLE, Indiana — An investigation is underway following a dramatic multi-state police pursuit that began with a retail robbery in Clarksville, Indiana, and concluded with arrests in Louisville, Kentucky.

According to local law enforcement, the incident began when two female suspects allegedly targeted a store in Clarksville. After executing the theft, the women fled the scene in a vehicle. When responding officers attempted to stop the suspects, the driver refused to pull over, initiating a high-speed chase.

The pursuit crossed the state line over the Ohio River, entering Louisville, Kentucky. Officers from multiple agencies coordinated efforts to safely end the pursuit. The chase concluded in Louisville, where both women were taken into custody without further incident.

Both suspects face multiple charges, including robbery, resisting law enforcement, and fleeing in a motor vehicle. Authorities are currently reviewing dashcam footage and store security video as they prepare the case for prosecution.
