Ohio City CBD Shop Targeted in $10K Burglary; Police Search for Suspects

Police are actively searching for a suspect caught on camera during a high-value burglary at "Cleveland Botanical Destination," a popular CBD and wellness boutique in Cleveland's vibrant Ohio City neighborhood. The owner of the shop reports that the thief managed to make off with more than $10,000 worth of specialty products.

High-Value Merchandise Stolen

The break-in occurred during the early morning hours, with the perpetrator smashing through the storefront glass to gain access. Surveillance footage captured the suspect moving efficiently through the store, clearing shelves of top-shelf CBD oils, edibles, and topical products, before loading them into large bags and fleeing into the night.

Owner Calls for Community Vigilance

The shop's owner expressed deep frustration over the incident, which has dealt a major financial blow to the independent business. In addition to the physical damage to the glass windows and retail displays is estimated to cost thousands of dollars to repair.

Surveillance images show a male suspect wearing dark clothing, a hood, and gloves. The owner has shared the footage online, appealing to the Ohio City community and local distributors to keep an eye out for anyone attempting to resell bulk quantities of CBD products under suspicious circumstances.
