Three Houston Men Arrested After Posing as Service Workers in College Station Burglaries

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Three men from Houston are in custody after allegedly posing as daytime service workers to carry out residential burglaries in the College Station area.

According to the College Station Police Department, the suspects utilized uniforms and fake identification to look like legitimate utility or service workers. This disguise allowed them to approach homes during daylight hours without raising suspicion, enabling them to gain entry or scout properties for burglary.

Following a series of reports from concerned neighbors and victims, College Station detectives, in coordination with regional law enforcement, identified and arrested the three individuals. They have been charged with multiple counts of burglary of a habitation.

Police advise residents to always verify the credentials of any utility or service worker who arrives unannounced before opening the door or allowing them access to their property. If in doubt, contact the service provider directly to confirm their dispatch.
