Two Minors Arrested After Smash-and-Grab at Colorado Springs Vape Store

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. โ€” Two juvenile suspects have been apprehended by local authorities following an early morning smash-and-grab burglary at a vape store in Colorado Springs, police reported.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, when the suspects targeted the business, smashing the storefront window to gain entry. Once inside, the minors quickly gathered merchandise before fleeing the scene on foot.

Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) officers responded swiftly to the alarm. Using descriptions provided by witnesses and security footage, officers located the two minors in the vicinity shortly after the break-in. The stolen items were successfully recovered and returned to the business owner.

Due to the suspects' ages, their names have not been released. They face charges related to commercial burglary and criminal mischief. The police department is continuing to investigate if the pair is linked to any other recent commercial break-ins in the area.
