Columbus Police Search for Suspect in Lockbourne Road Armed Robbery

COLUMBUS, Ohio โ€” The Columbus Division of Police is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Lockbourne Road late Thursday afternoon.

According to police reports, the robbery took place on November 27, 2025. Officers responded to a commercial location on Lockbourne Road following reports of an active robbery. Investigators state that the suspect entered the business, brandished a weapon, and demanded cash from the employee on duty.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the scene on foot. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the encounter, though staff members were left shaken by the incident.

Detectives have released details of the suspect, describing them as wearing dark clothing and a face covering during the heist. Police are actively scanning security footage from nearby cameras along the Lockbourne Road corridor to track the suspect's escape route.
