Suspect Photo Released After Southwest Columbus Armed Robbery

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Investigators with the Columbus Division of Police have released a surveillance photo of a suspect linked to an armed robbery in the southwestern quadrant of the city.

The incident occurred on Thursday, March 19, 2026. According to law enforcement, the suspect confronted victims or staff at a local business, showcasing a weapon to coerce compliance. After securing cash or valuables, the individual fled the premises, disappearing into the surrounding neighborhood before officers could arrive.

In an effort to generate new leads, detectives released the surveillance capture showing the suspect's physical profile and the clothing worn during the crime. Police hope that a member of the community will recognize the individual despite attempts to obscure their identity.
