Alleged Serial Prowler Arrested Following Northwest Columbus Burglaries and Attempted Sexual Assaults

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Residents of Northwest Columbus are breathing a sigh of relief after local police announced the arrest of an alleged serial prowler linked to a series of residential burglaries and attempted sexual assaults. The suspect was apprehended on Friday, January 16, 2026, following a coordinated police effort in response to multiple reports of unauthorized entries.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, the suspect had been targeting residential homes in the northwest quadrant of the city. In several of the reported incidents, the intruder managed to gain entry into occupied residences, leading to confrontations. Beyond property theft, the suspect faces multiple felony charges, including attempted rape, after allegedly assaulting female victims inside their homes.

Detectives stated that tip-offs from alert neighbors and forensic evidence collected at the scenes helped identify the suspect. He was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held at the Franklin County Jail.
