Manchester Men Indicted and Plead Guilty in Violent Concord Gas Station Robbery and Kidnapping
CONCORD, NH โ A high-profile crime spree that began with the armed robbery and subsequent kidnapping of a local gas station clerk in Concord, New Hampshire, has reached a significant legal resolution. The case, which drew intense concern from the community, involved multi-agency response, indictments, and a guilty plea in Merrimack Superior Court.
The Incident: Robbery and Clerk Abduction
On May 8, 2024, Concord police officers responded to an active robbery alarm at a local gas station. Upon arrival, officers discovered the store empty and the clerk missing. Surveillance footage revealed that suspects had entered the store, held the clerk at gunpoint, and forced him into a vehicle against his will. The suspects fled the scene with cash and stolen store property.
A rapid law enforcement dragnet ensued, leading to the location of the victim and the swift apprehension of the principal suspects, identified as two residents of Manchester, New Hampshire.
Legal Fallout: Indictments and Guilty Pleas
Following their arrest, the suspects faced additional charges as prosecutors compiled their case. Over the summer of 2024, a Merrimack County Grand Jury handed down multiple felony indictments against the men, including charges of kidnapping, conspiracy, and armed robbery.
By September 2025, one of the primary suspects entered a formal guilty plea. The court documents detailed the terrifying moments the clerk experienced and the coordinate efforts of the criminals. The defendant was sentenced to a lengthy prison term, while proceedings continue for the remaining co-conspirators.
"Violent crimes of this nature, especially involving the abduction of retail employees, will be met with the full force of our judicial system," state prosecutors noted following the plea.
