Coral Springs SWAT Search Ends in Arrest of Robbery Suspect Found Hiding on Roof

CORAL SPRINGS, FL — A massive SWAT search operation in a Coral Springs neighborhood culminated in the dramatic arrest of a suspect who was found hiding on a residential roof. The suspect is believed to be linked to a recent robbery that subsequently led to a shooting, prompting an immediate and heavy tactical police response.

The incident began when detectives tracked the individual, wanted in connection with the violent robbery, to a residence in Coral Springs. Due to the suspect's history and the involvement of a firearm in the prior incident, the Coral Springs Police SWAT team was mobilized to execute a high-risk search. A secure perimeter was established, and residents were advised to remain indoors as tactical units searched the property.

After an intensive search of the structure, officers spotted the suspect crouching on the roof of the home in an attempt to evade capture.
