Suspect Apprehended After Thieves Ransack Party Store on Detroit's East Side

DETROIT, Michigan — The Detroit Police Department has taken one suspect into custody following a chaotic commercial burglary on the city's east side late Tuesday night. Authorities report that a group of thieves targeted a local party store, completely ransacking the premises and causing significant property damage in the process.

According to initial police reports, the break-in occurred on December 30, 2025. Officers responding to the scene discovered that the suspects had forced entry into the establishment.
