Detroit police seek information on residential burglary suspects on the east side

DETROIT, MI — Detectives on Detroit's east side are seeking information from the community following a residential burglary that took place while the homeowners were away. The break-in is currently being investigated by local precinct officers who are working to identify the two individuals involved.

Police reports state that the suspects took advantage of the unoccupied residence to force their way inside. Once inside the home, they ransacked several rooms before fleeing the area. The full inventory of stolen items is still being compiled by the homeowners, who returned to discover the intrusion.

Investigators are canvassing the neighborhood for security footage from doorbell cameras or home surveillance systems that might have captured the suspects entering or exiting the property.
