Police Search for Armed Robber Who Targeted Lower Valley Bakery

EL PASO, Texas โ€” The El Paso Police Department's Robbery Division is actively searching for an armed suspect who targeted a local bakery in the Lower Valley area during a broad-daylight heist.

According to police records, the incident occurred on Monday, February 23, 2026. An unidentified individual entered the bakery store, displayed a weapon to employees, and demanded cash from the register. Fearing for their safety, the staff complied with the demands, and the suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Responding officers conducted a thorough sweep of the Lower Valley area, but the suspect could not be immediately located. Detectives are now analyzing security camera footage from the bakery and surrounding businesses to obtain a detailed description of the perpetrator.

The suspect is described as a male wearing dark clothing. No injuries were reported during the robbery. Community members with any information, dashboard camera footage, or security clips from the area on February 23 are strongly urged to contact El Paso police or Crime Stoppers.
