Five Teenagers Arrested After Daring Crash-and-Grab Robbery at East El Paso Vape Shop

EL PASO, Texas — A group of five teenagers has been arrested and detained by El Paso police following a daring "crash-and-grab" robbery at a local vape shop on the city's East Side.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday, March 13, 2025. According to reports from local law enforcement and retail surveillance, the suspects used a vehicle as a battering ram to smash through the front glass windows and security gates of the business. The impact caused significant structural damage to the storefront, allowing the perpetrators immediate entry into the retail space.

Once inside, the individuals quickly ransacked the display cases, grabbing merchandise before fleeing the scene. Officers dispatched to the alarm arrived to find the shop's facade heavily compromised. Following a swift investigation and search of the surrounding area, police successfully located and detained all five teenage suspects involved in the heist.
