Armed Robbery of Oasis Bar in South-Central El Paso Captured on Security Camera

EL PASO, Texas — Investigators with the El Paso Police Department are seeking public assistance in identifying suspects involved in an armed robbery at the Oasis Bar, located in South-Central El Paso.

The incident occurred on June 3, 2024, and was captured in detail by the establishment's internal security cameras. The footage shows the suspect entering the premises and brandishing a firearm to threaten staff and patrons.

Tense Moments Inside the Oasis Bar

According to reports, the armed suspect approached the bar area, pointed a handgun at the employee, and demanded cash from the register. Fearing for their lives, the staff complied with the demands, handing over an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then fled the scene on foot before police officers arrived.

Fortunately, no physical injuries were reported during the encounter, though the staff and customers present were left shaken by the ordeal. The high-definition security footage is currently being analyzed by detectives from the Crimes Against Persons unit in hopes of identifying the perpetrator.
