Suspect Arrested in $20,000 Robbery at The Outlet Shoppes at El Paso

EL PASO, Texas — A suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with a major robbery at The Outlet Shoppes at El Paso, which resulted in the theft of approximately $20,000 worth of merchandise.

The incident took place on February 19, 2024, at the popular shopping destination in West El Paso. According to police reports, the suspect entered one of the retail outlets and managed to seize a large quantity of high-value inventory before fleeing the premises.

Following a rapid response by the El Paso Police Department and mall security, law enforcement officers were able to track down and apprehend the suspect shortly after the incident occurred. A significant portion of the stolen property was recovered during the arrest.

The suspect is currently facing felony robbery charges and has been booked into the county jail. The investigation remains ongoing as detectives determine if the individual has links to other commercial burglaries or organized retail theft rings in the region.
