Woman Stops Home Invader After Stabbing of Two Near Everett, Police Report

EVERETT, Wash. — A harrowing home invasion near Everett on Monday, April 13, 2026, left two people critically injured and ended only when a woman inside the home took brave action to stop the assailant.

According to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to emergency calls reporting a violent intrusion at a residential property in the unincorporated area near Everett. Upon arrival, emergency responders found two victims suffering from severe stab wounds. Both individuals were rushed to a nearby trauma center in critical condition.
