Fayetteville Police Seek Public Assistance in Identifying Armed Bank Robbery Suspect

FAYETTEVILLE, North Carolina — Law enforcement officers in Fayetteville are actively searching for a suspect who carried out an armed robbery at a local First Citizens Bank branch on March 21, 2025.

According to police reports, the suspect entered the bank during business hours, brandished a weapon, and demanded money from the tellers. The employees complied with the demands, and the suspect fled the premises with an undisclosed amount of cash before officers arrived on the scene.

Fayetteville Police Department investigators have released details of the suspect, describing them as armed and dangerous. They are currently analyzing surveillance footage from the bank and neighboring businesses to trace the suspect's escape route and gather additional descriptive details.
