Authorities Search for Suspect Following Armed Robbery at Florence County Truck Stop

According to deputies, the armed robbery occurred late at night at a popular truck stop in Florence County. The suspect, described as wearing dark clothing and concealing their face, brandished a weapon and demanded cash from the register before fleeing the scene on foot.

Investigators have released surveillance footage snippets to the public in hopes of identifying the perpetrator. Law enforcement is urging anyone who was near the truck stop or has dashboard camera footage from the area at the time of the incident to contact the Florence County Sheriff's Office immediately.
