ATF Offers $10,000 Reward After Burglaries Target Two Florence Gun Shops
FLORENCE, Ala. โ The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), in partnership with local law enforcement agencies, has announced a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the individuals responsible for burglarizing two gun stores in Florence, Alabama.
The burglaries, which targeted licensed firearms retailers, resulted in the theft of multiple firearms. Federal authorities emphasize the serious public safety threat posed when stolen weapons enter the community and are trafficked illegally.
"Burglarizing a federal firearms licensee is a serious federal crime that puts dangerous weapons into the hands of criminals," an ATF official stated. "We are asking for the public's help to bring these individuals to justice and recover these firearms before they can be used to commit violent crimes." Anyone with information regarding the break-ins or the whereabouts of the stolen inventory is urged to contact the ATF or local police.
