Teens Arrested After Breaking Into Fort Myers Vape Shop

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Several teenagers have been arrested and are facing charges after breaking into a vape shop in Fort Myers early Thursday morning, March 26, 2026.

Officers with the Fort Myers Police Department responded to a commercial burglary alarm at the business. Upon arriving, police found signs of forced entry, including a shattered window. A search of the immediate area, assisted by a K-9 unit, led officers to locate and detain the teenage suspects who were attempting to hide nearby.

According to investigators, the youth suspects had broken into the store to steal vape pens, e-liquids, and other retail products. All stolen merchandise was successfully recovered by officers at the scene and returned to the business owner.

The teenagers were arrested and booked into the local juvenile assessment center, facing charges of commercial burglary and grand theft. Police did not release their names or exact ages due to their status as minors. The investigation remains active to determine if the group has been involved in any other recent break-ins in the area.
