Man Arrested for Armed Robbery at Royal Arcade in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, Fla. — A man has been arrested and faces multiple charges following a swift response by police to an armed robbery at the Royal Arcade in Fort Myers on Monday, May 19, 2025.

The Fort Myers Police Department responded to reports of an active robbery at the Royal Arcade. According to witnesses, a male suspect entered the business, brandished a weapon, and demanded money from the employees on duty. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect attempted to flee the scene on foot.

Responding officers, aided by descriptions provided by arcade staff, quickly located a man matching the suspect's description a short distance from the arcade.
