Former Brink's Employee Sentenced to 14 Years in Prison for $660K Armored Truck Heist
FORT WORTH, Texas — A former employee of armored car transport service Brink's has been sentenced to more than 14 years in federal prison for masterminding an armed cash heist that netted over $660,000 from a Fort Worth credit union ATM.
Isaiah Warren, 25, was sentenced to 171 months in prison by a federal judge following his guilty plea to charges of interference with commerce by robbery and brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence. He was also ordered to pay $696,700 in restitution to Brink's.
The heist occurred on New Year's Eve, December 31, 2024, at the Educational Employees Credit Union located on Clifford Street in Fort Worth. Warren and an accomplice, Cameron Henderson, confronted a female Brink's driver as she was restocking the ATMs. Holding her at gunpoint, they forced her inside the armored vehicle and seized two bags containing approximately $662,000. When a credit union security guard confronted them, Warren callously used the female driver as a human shield during their escape.
Warren's run from the law was short-lived. He was arrested just days later, on January 3, 2025, in Gainesville, Texas, during a traffic stop for running a red light. Inside his vehicle, police discovered the firearm used in the heist, a quantity of marijuana, and approximately $99,000 in stolen cash. Investigations later linked Warren to an earlier $34,700 armored truck robbery at a DolEx check-cashing business in Irving, Texas.
