FBI Manhunt Underway for Suspect Who Robbed Fort Worth Chase Bank Using Fireworks

FORT WORTH, Texas — A federal manhunt is currently underway after a suspect pulled off a bizarre and dangerous bank robbery in Fort Worth using fireworks as a weapon. The FBI's Dallas Field Office and local police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the individual responsible for the heist at a Chase Bank branch on North Tarrant Parkway.

According to investigators, the incident occurred at approximately 1:14 p.m. at the Chase Bank located at 4225 N. Tarrant Parkway. The suspect walked into the lobby, pulled out fireworks, and attempted to light them while demanding cash from the bank tellers. The threat of explosives caused immediate panic inside the branch, allowing the robber to secure an undisclosed amount of cash.

However, the suspect's crime spree did not stop there. Upon exiting the bank, he approached a woman at a nearby business and demanded the keys to her vehicle, attempting to orchestrate a carjacking for his getaway. The attempt failed, and the suspect fled the scene on foot, disappearing into the surrounding area.

The FBI describes the suspect as a white male, estimated to be between 28 and 32 years old, standing approximately 6 feet tall and weighing around 170 pounds. Surveillance footage captured him wearing a dark baseball cap, sunglasses, a long-sleeve dress shirt, and a necktie. Notable physical features include crooked teeth and visible acne scarring on his face.

Law enforcement officials warn that the suspect is considered dangerous due to his unpredictable behavior and willingness to use explosive materials in public spaces. Anyone with information is urged to contact the FBI's Dallas Field Office or the Fort Worth Police Department.
